Virtual reality as a visual media is not a new concept, but to feel it in your skin certainly is. That is exactly what HaptX is trying to do with their HaptX Glove. The device is still in development and looks a bit clunky, but what it can do can make users look (and feel) beyond those aspects. The glove uses a tecnology they nicknamed "touch pixels", but they couldn't go further on that subject (corporate secrets, ya know?). To simulate solid objects, the glove creates force feedback through the use of metal bands that pull on the fingers, restricting their movements.
